Isaiah 43:2 When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.
All spiritual journeys are unique. Not one person’s journey is the same as another. They may seem alike in many ways, but they are totally different. You never know what a person goes through if you have never walked in their shoes. Our steps are not set in stone, but they are ordered by the Lord (Psalm 37:23), because although God orders our steps, we still have a choice to obey or disobey His orders.
God will never guide you in the wrong direction. We are the ones that choose the “easy” way out, so to say. We try to take shortcuts to avoid any traffic that may hinder our walk. But what we don’t know is those shortcuts may sometimes be dark, lonely and scary. God never said that this journey that we are on will be smooth and easy, but He did say He will be with us through it all. We must remember that God gives his toughest battles to his strongest soldiers. The storm that you may be going through, another may not be able to handle. That’s why it’s important to not compare ourselves to others, because we are all walking different journeys.
Because the truth is, no one can fulfill your purpose but you. And you are about to walk into your purpose which was ordained by God Himself. Your purpose is the main reason you were created, so, fasten your seatbelt and prepare yourself for the journey of a lifetime!
