Prayer for Self—Psalm 139:23-24

Heavenly Father, thank you for all that you have done, doing, and about to do in my life. I’m so blessed to know that I can enter Your holy presence not only to pray for others, but I can come boldly to your throne with all my mess and cares and lay them at your fee. Father God, help me to love others like you love me. Help me be a light in someone’s darkness. And thank You for the assurance that You are always there for me, too. How I love and praise You for who You are in my life! Thank You Jesus! Amen!

Prayer for Marriage—Ephesians 5:22-33

Father God, I come to you today and lift my marriage up to your throne room. Lord, help me remember that my love for my husband is scared and a blessing. And I pray that our love for one another only grows stronger as we both grow in you. I pray you give us both kind and loving words for each other, and a heart that is ready to forgive. Father God, help us be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to anger towards one another. I release my marriage into your loving hands and I trust that you are going to mold it into the marriage you have called us to be. Help us love each other with passion, persistence, and purpose and above all to put you center of our marriage. I pray in Jesus’ Name! Amen!

Prayer for Strength—Nehemiah 8:10

Dear Lord, I pray that you would give me strength as I go out and face this day. Father God, help me overcome any temptations or struggles that may come my way. I pray that as I go through this day that you will help me keep my mind stayed on You and in Your perfect peace. Let Your joy saturates my life today and let Your hope arise in me. Have favor over me everywhere I go and let everything I touch be blessed. In Jesus’ Mighty Name, Amen!

Prayer for Depression—Psalm 40:1-3

Heavenly Father, I come to You in the name of Jesus. Father God, Your Word says that if I come near to You, you will come near to me. Father God, I call to You now and ask You to be with me and make Yourself known to me in this time of depression. I recognize that this spirit is not from You, but from the enemy, and I rebuke it and refuse it right now in the name of Jesus. Father, Your Word says that You heal the broken hearted and binds up their wounds and though in this moment in time I may be down, I trust Your Word, and am putting myself in Your hands so that this scripture may come to pass in my life. I recognize that depression is not of the light, but of darkness, and I believe that Your word is the light that causes darkness to flee, therefore depression has no place in my life. I believe Lord, that I can cast all my cares and anxieties on You because You care for me. Therefore, right now, in the name of Jesus, I cast all my cares and anxieties on You today. I believe that You have set me free and I am free indeed. I trust you as my deliverer, redeemer, restorer, and comforter. And In the mighty name of Jesus, I cancel any depression in my life. In Jesus’ Name, Amen!

Prayer for a Compassionate Heart—Colossians 3:12

Father God, thank you for all you do for me. Thank you for your provisions in my life. Thank you for loving me unconditionally. It’s your love that keeps me going. It’s your love that gives me hope to face another day. I can’t imagine my life in any other way. Lord Jesus, I ask that you open my eyes to see those around me that need your love and compassion. Compel me to listen to them, to hear their needs and feel their pain. Give me the heart to help those who need help and to love them like you love them. Fill me with so much compassion that those around me will feel your presence so strongly and their hearts will melt with love. Give me a heart to be a voice to the voiceless, a giver to the poor, and an encourager to the lonely. I pray that the Fear of the Lord compels me to show compassion to others. And I receive Your grace to love others as You love them. I receive Your showers of mercy to run the race set before me and to win this lost and hurting world through a compassionate and loving heart! I pray this in Jesus’ Name, Amen!

Prayer to become a Virtuous Woman — Proverbs 31:10, 26

Father, help me become the woman you knitted together in my mother’s womb. From birth, childhood, adolescence through to adulthood you have kept me in the palm of your hand. For that I give you praise and glory every day of my life. Father God, I know I have failed you over and over again, and I have fallen short of your glory, but I believe that you are working in me, because your word says that “Being confident of this very thing, that he which has begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ. “Philippians 1:6. So I am trusting that you are molding me into a Virtuous Woman of God. And thank you Father for loving me even when I didn’t love myself. In Jesus’ Name I pray, Amen!

Prayer for Healing in My Body — Isaiah 53:4-5

Father, I know that there is no sickness that you cannot heal. For you are a healing God. I believe that you bore my sicknesses and diseases, and carried my pain when you died on that old rugged cross. You took stripes for me Jesus. Therefore, by faith, I receive healing in my body right now in Jesus Mighty Name. And I bind every sickness and disease that the enemy has tried to put on my body. Devil you are trespassing because my body is the temple of the Holy Spirit. So right now, I command you to leave my body. I believe that I am healed and that I will continue to experience excellent health in my life and body. Thank you, Lord, for healing me. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Prayer for Financial Provision —Philippians 4:19

Father, since the beginning you provided our supply before our need. Thank You that You have promised to supply all my needs according to Your riches in glory and thank You that You loved me so much that You sent Your only begotten Son to die in my place on the cross and to pay the price for my sins. Help me to seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness, and I know that all the things we need (finances, food, clothing, shelter, etc.) will be given to us. You are always faithful to supply all our needs. Father, we are your children, and you have said in Matthew 7:7 that when we have a need we should ask and keep on asking, and when we do we will receive our answer. Today I thank you for meeting those financial needs in my life and thank you for helping me be a blessing to others! I pray this in Jesus’ Name, Amen!

Prayer for Peace Through Storms— Isaiah 26:3; Colossians 3:15

Father, I trust in You and keep my thoughts fixed on You and Your promises. And You will keep me in perfect peace. I let Your peace rule in my heart. I allow it to settle any questions that arise in my mind. I wholeheartedly trust in You. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
