2 Timothy 1:7 “For God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”
It is so easy to follow a crowd, but when you are reminded that Christ did not follow the crowd, but the crowd followed Him, then your mindset changes. When you are seeking God for change, change is what you will get. Sometimes it may not be the change that you were anticipating, but nevertheless, it will be a change for the better.
When we allow God to bring down the walls in our lives, God will fill us beyond capacity. He will fill us to the overflow, but only when we let go of our limits and tear the walls down in our lives can He work in and through us. We are going to have to let go of those things that are hindering our walk with God. For me it was fear. Fear! Fear had me constraint. Fear is such an ugly feeling and it will paralyze you to the point of being zombified! Yes zombified! I believe that everyone has dealt with fear at one point in their lives. One thing I have come to know is that we’re sure to fail if we try to be God in our lives, but we’ll for sure succeed if we let God be God and trust Him. After all, He knows best!
Fear my friend, will stop you in your tracks. It will hinder you from being all that God has called you to be. Fear contradicts faith, and fear should have no place in the life of a Christian. Fear is a lifelong battle, yes, but God is our lifelong Protector. Today press pass your fears and walk with confidence in Christ Jesus. When you know who you are and whose you are, you become FEARLESS. And FEARLESS is who God has called you to be!
