If you're a single momma...read this!

Hebrews 11:6 “And without faith it is impossible to please God.”

If you are a single momma, regardless of the path that got you there, this devotion is for you. I was a single mother for years and I felt as if all the odds were against me. Little did I know, God never left me alone. He was always there, cheering me on and lifting me up.

Single parents more than any other parent must grab hold of God's grace and mercy, and trust that God is more than capable of meeting all their needs. Single parents must have faith that God is going to make everything right and trust that God will take care of yesterday and tomorrow and bless your now. Because God is your provider and protector, and He has paid every cost, made all the arrangements, and taken care of every problem you may have, or will ever have.

As mothers we must continue to show Godly values to our children regardless of our past failures and mistakes. If you have already asked God to forgive you than He has forgiven you, so you should forgive yourself too! All you have to do is start making better decisions by trusting God with your future and the future of your children.

Trust and have faith that no matter what situation you’re in right now, God is going to turn it around for your good and His glory. I have learned that without faith it is impossible to please God, and as a daughter of God, I have learned that we receive everything we need from God through faith. So today, have faith and trust that God will take care of you not because of who you are, but because of who He is and because He loves you!

Sweet momma, we serve a good, good Father and He loves you very much. And He longs to fulfill every desire in your life, and all He wants you to do is trust Him and have faith that He can do the impossible in your life, even if you are a single parent. So, hold on momma, Gods got you!
